Melt & Pour Soapmaking Classes

Location: Sealed by Nature, 318 W. Plum St. “B”
Duration: 1.5 hours

All materials included. Advance registration required.

Age Requirements: This class is open to adults and children ages 6 and up. Children ages 6–8 may need additional assistance from an adult during the project. Due to limited seating and supplies, any adult wishing to stay and assist must purchase their own ticket and will receive their own seat and project. Children under 6 may not participate.

There’s something magical about building a soap from the inside out!  Our Melt & Pour Soap Making Classes are designed for both kids and adults to explore soapmaking through color, scent, layering, and creative design. You’ll work with ready-to-use soap bases while learning how to melt, color, scent, layer, and combine different types of soap to create a finished bar.

The fun really begins when you make your own soft, moldable soap dough embeds. Create tiny shapes and playful details, then nestle them inside your soap to create a surprise waiting beneath the surface.

Each themed class features its own seasonal designs, colors, fragrances, and creative possibilities. No previous experience is needed—just bring your imagination and get ready to experiment!

Participants will make two handcrafted soaps each, carefully packaged and labeled to take home or give as a gift.

Create adorable Christmas-themed embeds from soft, moldable soap dough and tuck them inside the layers of Melt & Pour soap. Choose from festive designs such as Christmas trees, snowflakes, presents, ornaments, candy canes, and other holiday surprises, then finish your soaps with Christmas colors and seasonal fragrances.

A fun holiday activity for kids and adults to create together and a wonderful way to make a couple of handmade gifts for the holiday season.

Class Purchase Terms
Payment is due at the time of booking to hold your spot. Once your purchase is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation. You’re welcome to download your digital ticket as a handy reminder of your class date and time, but don’t worry — it’s not required for entry.

Cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 24 hours before the class by calling Sealed by Nature at 814-384-8184. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the class are non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend, we’re happy to offer store credit for future classes with proper notice.

Sealed by Nature reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.
