I start by steeping fresh or dried calendula petals in hot water to create a delicate herbal tea. This infusion forms the additional water phase of the soap, carrying the flower’s natural soothing and calming properties directly into every bar.

Next, I prepare the oil phase, including Calendula Infused Oil, which has been slowly steeped in olive oil to draw out the flower’s natural skin-loving compounds. This oil is blended with nourishing oils and butters (olive oil, castor, coconut, shea butter and palm) to create a creamy, moisturizing base that supports soft, healthy skin.

To make the soap both gentle and luxurious, I add a touch of vegetable glycerin, enhancing hydration and giving the bars a naturally creamy lather. This ensures that each wash feels comforting and indulgent, leaving skin soft and refreshed.

I bring the bars to life with a soft swirl of yellow and white, creating subtle movement that echoes the warmth of the calendula petals. The soaps are scented with a marigold and calendula fragrance, capturing the bright, calming essence of the flower itself.
